What counts as one unit?
One unit is one student submission scored against your rubric. If you assign an essay to a class of 30, grading the whole class uses 30 units of your allowance. On Semester Pro the allowance is counted per enrolled student across the semester rather than per month.
What happens if I reach my limit?
We let you know as you approach it. Contact us and we will move you to a larger plan — the new allowance applies as soon as we switch it over. Your courses, rubrics, and already-graded work are never affected.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. Email us or use the contact form and we will cancel your plan — there is no long-term contract. You keep access to your paid features until the end of your current billing cycle.
Is student data secure with the free plan?
Yes. Student privacy is our top priority. We are fully FERPA compliant, and we never use student submissions to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model, regardless of whether you are on a free or paid plan.
